This adapter reduces focal length to 0.72x , to adjust the image size to near 1:1 so that the focal length of the image is close to actual focal length of the lens, e.g. 50mm x 1.5 x 0.72 = 54mm. For using Nikon Z mount APS-C digital cameras with all Canon EF mount lenses. (not for full frame cameras) Allows focus infinity. Switching camera to «Shooting without lens» mode is essential. It helps to increase the maximum aperture to 1 stop, and you can use it faster by 1 stop. Blue spot will occur if lens is shot to sunlight or lamp directly. Full-Frame Lens to APS-C Camera Body, full-frame Lens Angle of View with APS-C. Restore the approximate full-frame angle of view, aperture cannot be adjusted. Please read user manual before install. Put red marks of the adapter and lens collar together, then turn FD lens to yellow mark. Turn the adapter anticlockwise till the fixative click. mosty it will use Manual or Av mode. Removing: To remove the adapter you should unpress fixative pin and turn the adapter clockwise. NOTE: When using the camera, set «Menu»-«Release without lens» to «On». The larger rear lens may interfere with the mounting adapter. Use A (aperture priority) mode or M (manual) mode for shooting mode settings. The focus changes to MF (manual focus).
