Discontinued item. Absolutely new condition but the box does show some serious wear & damage from storage. This is a USA made item and version. Last one I have FYI There are Chinese versions of this knife and tons of them are around. They sold on amazon for around $30. They have the same model number but are «CHINESE» marked. From my understanding those China 1595G10s are actually official Kershaw branded knives but were made in China. All are now discontinued. The main visible difference is in the blade finish, they look cheap and of course are stamped «China». There seem to be a lot on eBay for $30-$50 and they don’t mention origin or where made. Some try to pawn them off as US versions so do take care if you are looking for this knife. Don’t be fooled, this one is USA made in Oregon and very rare. Unique locking mechanism on this knife Kershaw’s and Ken Onion combined for an innovative design that is a cut above the rest. The Kershaw Speed-Bump uses a new «re-curve» blade design providing excellent leverage, and the blade point is exactly centered for perfect piercing. Lightweight G10 scales make this knife different from other Speed Bumps. The Speed-Bump also utilizes Kershaw’s patented Stud Lock combined with the Speedsafe opening system. The lock release is contained in the blade instead of the handle. This is a great, tough, light-weight, multi-tasking knife.
