Unless/otherwise the mold is too severe in which may affect the plant. *Trees and vines may arrive dormant in cool seasons. To make sure your plant is still alive, do a skin scratch test by using your nail to scratch the thin first layer of your tree branch. If the under skin is green, white or still viable, then it is alive. If it is hard, brown then it is dead.
